AC freezing up

If the line is frosting up then the fluid inside the line (and in the evaporator) is below freezing. This shouldn’t happen with a properly charged system and the compressor low pressure cut-off operating. The uninsulated part of the compressor suction line could be cold and sweating, but not frosty.

Sounds like the evaporator is freezing up. There was a tsb on them for this. They have since changed it to "its under the diagnos tab in the shop manual. Seems a whole lot of them were ordered when the tsb came out. So Ford in their infinite wisdom to cut costs cut the tsb's.. I ordered one in the end of May, put it in, in july no issues since.

Update 9-29-2022. Dropped it off at another Ford service center after behold told they had a ac tech with 30 years experience and could definitely get to the bottom of it. They let me know 4 days after dropping it off they couldn't duplicate the issue so ford wouldn't let them do anything to it.
