Exhaust?
ok this might be in the wrong section but i want to know only about the V10. I'm planning on getting a 1999-03 not sure yet F250 with the V10. It's a supercab shortbed. Just wondering if anyone's found a decent dual rear exhaust? I'm looking for one that isn't real loud unless i really can on it. I like to hear my exhaust growl at times but most of the time while driving normal i prefer to hear my music

Just change the muffler and leave the stock exhaust, this should give you what you want,just be prepared for the 6.8 not to sound anything like a V8.Also get a 2000 or later, they have more HP,99,s and earlier had 275 HP, 2000,s and later 310 HP>

I'm running 1 Flowmaster dualed split rear exit with 4"x18" slash tips. Its nice and loud with foot in the floor and on start up; it does quiet down upon overdrive at highway speeds or just cruising. When people hear it, they always ask "what you got in that thing?" They love it! And so do I.

That flowmaster sounds like exactly what i want. Is it a setup that's available on their website or did you have to do custom tubing for it? About how much does the setup cost? Thanks for the help
