I just ordered a new Lariat that should be ready in 5 weeks or so. I graduated from college in May and am now in the military so I qualify for both discounts.
If I join the AQHA now, will I also be able to recieve the $500 savings in addition to my other 2 discounts???
I would love to think that I would be, but it just sounds too good to be true- that would be $1700 in discounts!!!
All 3 of these rebates are considered "private offers" from Ford, meaning that you have to qualify for them; they're not available to the general public. Ford will allow you ONE private offer, so you'll have to choose one of these (the Military Appreciation offer is the highest @ $750). You can combine one of these with a regular rebate if one should become available, but whoever told you that you could get more than one is incorrect.
The person who told me that was the DEALER I ORDERED IT FROM!
That really sucks! Am I out of luck, or do you think that the dealer would accept both discounts anyway because it was part of the deal? Legally he should be responsible, but I'm not going to cry over $500 I don't guess.
The real kicker is I just spent $30 to join the stupid AQHA club to get an additional $500 off!!! After all, the dealer told me they would all work together!
