Value estimator
Hello all,
looking for some ideas on what my truck may be worth and then will transfer it to the classifieds page if I decide to actually list it. The truck is a 91 F250 XLT Lariat, super cab, 8ft bed, rwd. It has the 7.5L 460. It has about 140k miles on it. Bought the truck about 3 years ago and only put a few thousand miles on it. Put on new tires this past summer. New exhaust. Very minimal rust and everything was running fine until about a month ago. Won’t always starts and when it does idles poorly, blowing black smoke from exhaust. I poured in one bottle of a motor medic type of product and the drive ability has improved a bit (power, acceleration) and it doesn’t seem to smoke as bad when driving. Really trying to gauge value of selling without potentially a fully working engine and if it’d be more beneficial money wise to flip out to a refurb and then sell. Thanks in advance

Start with fuel pressure testing if belching black smoke...
What trans?
A poor running gas hog is not going to bring much. If I saw pics, I could give an opinion. Description alone, like buying a pig in a poke, I would give you $1000 sight unseen with the provided data.
