Had to replace the flexplate due to the other one cracking.
Does anyone have a trick to line the torque converter up to the flexplate?
Does the the flexplate have a certain position it needs to be at, as in balance with this particular year?

The flexplate holes will only line up to the crankshaft one way. Keep turning the flexplate until all the holes line up.
No. The torque converter does not need to be lined up any particular way.
Thank you. I got it done this afternoon, used an allen wrench to feel the torque converter stud and line it up. Now it's time to torque everything down (and not forget some thread lock this time), throw the harness back on, reconnect the drive shafts, fix my rotted fuel vent line, and redo the entire shot rear suspension
