DEF warning question

There should be a code starting with P0 that shows up when you scan it. My 2021 had a bad DEF system and that message would come on and resolve itself again and again. Sometimes the code said low or no flow.

so i havent pulled any codes yet. i have a code for the nox sensor that needs fixed but nothing for the def. i will keep the reader with me and when i get the warning i will try to pull it but it seems to be so intermediate when i turn the key off it doesnt catch the code?
i still havnt figured the ob2 and phone for forescan........

FYI I've had this same error once on an extremely cold morning and my truck only had around 10k miles on it at the time. I had other mornings equally as cold without any issues. Just wanted to throw that out there as parts of the country are experiencing cold weather.

this is why I always advise to run the def down the <200 to empty and then do a complete fill.

It helps to avoid the def tank sensor confusion.

yeah- i run it low prior to refill-
i think the time before the issue started it was so low it warned of limp mode in a certain number of miles due to being so low.

it is intermittent but has had me pull over to restart twice now due to miles and going into limp, so it is at the point of needing addressed.

need to figure my iphone and truck out with connecting to 4scan.
