Difference between F-Series and E-Series small block
Hello, as the title implies I am wondering about the differences between oil pans on small
blocks, specifically 302s as I have a 302 out of a 74 F100 I’d like to put into an 84 Econoline 250. Would I be running into any fitment issues oil pan wise or is it all the same?

Modern trucks all use rear sump pans and oil pickups so if that is what your motor has you should be good, if it's not then an '84 rear sump pickup and pan will bolt right on because the external bolt patterns and dimensions of the 302 never changed.
