I have a 2001 f250 5.4l, just yesterday I managed to develop a fuel leak
it seems to be coming from the flexible part of the high pressure line that goes from the fuel filter to the fuel rail
Not really sure where to get or find one of these but every auto part store I've checked with can't get it! Hoping someone here has had similar experience, not sure what to do?
Take a chunk of the leaking fuel line, along with a length measurement, to NAPA or any other local car parts store and tell them what you need. They will sell you a new section of hose and a few clamps. It might not look 100% factory but it'll work.
I just developed a leak in a similar spot on my 2010 F350 (6.8L). In my case it looks like the plastic clamp (to the right of the spring lock) literally wore into the hose over time until it began to leak. I would not be surprised if others don't run into the same problem with this clamp cutting into the hose. I was very fortunate that it didn't ignite as it was spraying everywhere, and pouring down onto the exhaust manifold.
On this year the fuel supply line is just a flexible plastic line with a thin rubber cover over it. That plastic line is molded over barbed fittings on both ends (no clamps needed) and doesn't look very serviceable. However, since both ends are barbed I'm hoping that I can just get some high pressure EFI hose and a couple clamps and be back in business.
I would also suggest that you contact Inline Tube in Michigan. Many of the flexible high pressure fuel lines they can make including the correct end fittings. https://www.inlinetube.com/collections/fuel-lines
Instead of trying to find it in the online catalogue, simply call them. Maybe you can send them your picture and identify which lines you are needing replaced.
I recommend them because they helped me with brake and fuel pipe replacement on my 50 year old car. They made the fuel pipe that goes from the fuel filter alongside the transmission to the engine in the rear of the car. They put the bends where I requested and it slipped into place perfectly.
Some NAPA store can make up new power steering hoses and if you supply the end fitting they may be able to make a new fuel hose for you.

Reason: Adding another part source
In this case it turns out some 3/8" EFI fuel hose fits nice and tight once worked over the barbed fittings and new clamps, I was back in business. It took longer to fish the line back into position and snap it into the brackets on the back of the block. I'd love to see how this is assembled at the factory as the line mounts to both the cab and engine block. I've thought to use them for other cars that I could leave idle for a couple weeks, but already wound up bending my own lines. Without a lift you sometimes can't get the factory lines in or out without bending them so making them myself lets me make them in two parts for easier install.

This is what I ended up doingI found pre bent fuel lines from the dealer but they only come as a pair and just over $300 for the set
