Check Engine Light (p401)
I have a 1998 Ford Expedition 4.6L 4 X4. Can anyone give me some suggestions. My check engine light came on about 2 weeks after I had my Flowmaster 50 series Muffler installed. I went to Autozone and had them hook up the code reader and it said "(PO401)insufficent air flow to EGR" or something like that. I replaced the EGR valve on Friday and had a friend of mine shut the check engine light off with his code reader. All was fine till the next day after putting about 70 miles or so on it. So I then replaced the EVR by the advice of someone else and the Check Engine Light still came back on after about 20 mi. Now they are telling me that the DPFE is the problem. What should I do?
