Anybody figured out a way to put a cabin filter on these things so I don't have to do this again 20 years from now? 😂 Started as just trying to fix a leak on passenger floor from the hvac box. Turned into this. I don't want to do this again. 😂
There was a thread about this. There is a filter available that goes on the outside on top of the cowl. I can’t remember who found the filter but I believe @FordTruckNoob also installed one.
That thing looks kind of goofy on top of the cowl like that. They should have put it on the inside. I may just try to do something with some furnace filter. Be simple to do on the inside with recirculation is.
