Power Actuated Tailgate Locking
I hope this is not something that's been answered before but I couldn't find anything on it in my searching.
I have a 2021 F350 Platinum with the power open tailgate. My question is, does the tailgate lock when the truck is locked. I looked inside the tailgate assembly and only found the actuator to release the gate? On my truck, after I lock the doors, in any and all ways know to me, the tailgate open button on the tailgate itself is still able to open the tailgate. I have a retractable tonneau cover and I'd like to know how I can secure the tailgate to keep items in the bed as secure as possible,
Before I check with the dealership that often times has no idea what I'm asking, I though that this forum could help answer the question. Thanks in advance.

And just after I clicked submit, it dawned on me. I had the keyfob in my pocket when I was testing.
I just tested the button again with the keyfob in the house and the button does NOT allow the tailgate to open.
I'd like to keep this out here in case others have this issue themselves.
