Factory speaker wires
Hi,
Probably a silly question, but I really do not know. I was hoping to replace the factory speakers on my '98 Explorer, but how do you know which wire is negative and which is positive? Any assitance is appreciated

When I changed out the door speakers in my Ranger, I unsoldered the connectors from the OEM speakers, cut a little plastic off of them, and soldered them directly to the replacement
speakers. Made a clean installation, and I didn't have to worry
about speaker phasing......You probably have the same connectors in your Explorer....
