295/70R17 vs 285/70R17
Hello everyone:
So I have a 2003 F-150 Fx4 single cab that I want to add larger tires to. I definitely want to keep my stock rims and I don't want to lift the truck. I wouldn't mind doing a leveling kit though. My question is: I would LOVE 295/70R17 tires on my truck but I don't know if that would rub on the bumper. I don't mind doing a little trimming with scissors but not anything more. Would I have to do a leveling kit for 295s? If 295s require a leveling kit, would 285s be less trimming and not require a leveling kit? I don't want to lose any turning radius.
Thanks!
