1990 ford E350 AC compressor replacement
So I just replaced my compressor all o rings and orifice tube on my camper 1990 e350 7.5l but have a few questions ... when do I put the pag oil in and what kind ..the company I bought a compressor from said to use R12 refrigerant oil for R134a refrigerant but the back of the compressor says pag oil 46... so which one do I out in and do I put it in before I pull a vacuum or after... gonna check some more videos but just want to make sure I'm not missing any steps and I'm doing everything the right way ... appreciate any feedback ... thanks alot 👍🤷♂️
DId you flush the system at some point during this installation? The orifice tube looks quite clogged possibly from debris when/if the original compressor failed. You don't want anything from that failure circulating in the newly re-charge system to clog the new O-tube all over again.
I can't advise you on which oil works with what refrigerant but someone here should have the correct answers for you.
Good luck with this project!
