Ok, so how do those of us who fell into the delete gap add the MC seats after the fact??
I think a lot of people will be asking that. Another popular question will be that 'if Ford was working on bringing the MC seats back this year, why didn't they ask if people would want them to hold their order until they were available?'
I wonder if someone was rooting around in a warehouse and ran across a box of parts that held the key pieces needed for the seats to work.
Same here. Hoping not to get bumped up unless the seats come with it.
have they ever bumped anyone up? Their computers probably don't have that scheduling capability, haha...im going to assume it will be built without mc seats...I never have any luck...

From what I know, the air blatters, pump, motors and of course, software are removed. So, its not a matter of patching the software via over the air update. The cost of retrofit is WAY more than the stupid $300 they throw at you...probably well over $1,000 in parts.
Definitely great news for those still waiting. My F350 Platinum was built on 08/08 with the MC Delete and in shipping status. I am going to request an retrofit or refuse the truck and order another. I placed my order in December 21 so I guess I will be waiting again for a 23 model with MC seats.

This is at least an indicator that MY23 may also have the MC seats available.
WOW - Great news, got the email on Thursday, my production date is September 12th!
Let’s hear the same news for the 5th Wheel hitch prep. Likewise on the adaptive cruise control.

The 5th wheel hitch and adaptive cruise were never deleted like those seats. They were just in short supply at periods of time.

Actually, there have been a few lately. However, I have a feeling I will be pushed back from my Labor Day build week because I figure anyone with MC seats on their build will be pushed back to the 5th. Might be good news for some wo MC seats getting bumped up to fill slots in the line.
Well, that means the Platinum I have on order will have them after all. When it is built and delivered, anyone interested in it? I'll give you the sales guy's number when it arrives.
