I somehow have water coming into the cab and can’t figure out where it’s coming in. Water is pooled up under the carpet in the footwell on the front passenger side and soaked through. I never noticed it until it started smelling musty in the truck. I removed the carpet and used a wet vac. It’s mostly wet in the front with water also in the cable tray below the sill.
I never noticed water coming down the pillar and don’t recall leaving a window open in the rain.
has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas where the water could be coming in? I might have to sit in the truck while my wife sprays water in various areas outside.
I had this happen on a car I had. Turns out the A/C condensate drain was plugged and was backing up into the cab.

This would be my first suspicion since you are seeing it on the passenger side, and there is that known TSB posted above.
I purchased the elbow that's used in the TSB just in case I experience that problem.
That HVAC drain has been a problem for years
Use whatever you can to direct the water down and away
They used to leak on the #4 plug and cause a miss 97-03
Now they just soak the carpet
You put a used spark plug boot on there for 50 cents and be done with it
I had water coming out of the A pillar trim on my '22 without a sunroof. Turned out to be a bad body seal under the black trim where the roof and the door surround meet.
Good luck on yours!
yeah. Good video. I’ve watched his videos before and they’re good. I have the part on order. The carpet is so soaked that I cut out the nasty parts. I’ll have to piece together a replacement but don’t want to replace the entire carpet. Way too much messing around🤪
