Getting water leaking from grab handle on passenger side on my 2017 F 350. It has a sunroof. Had the windshield replace 2 years ago. Leak started 2 months ago. Took the truck back to Safelite they said it's not the windshield and bring it to ford. Ford check it and took down the head liner and said it was the windshield. Safelite replaced the windshield twice. It stopped leaking for a month until Sunday and started to leak again. Anyone having the same issue?
I've had the windshield on my '02 replaced twice by Safelite. The first time, it developed a leak around the upper windshield molding and ran along the edge to the lower corner. I was ablento get it taken care of, but did raise questions regarding quality of workmanship.
I had the same problem on mine. The drain tube had fallen completely off the right front and water was running down the A pillar and out the grab handle. Open the roof and pour water on the right front drain and see where it goes. If it drains behind the front wheel your drain is fine. If it drains out your grab handle the tube is probably off. If it backs up the drain is clogged. At least you can rule that out and pursue the windshield. If the tube is off it’s an easy fix just drop the right front corner of the headliner and you’ll see it.
Hopefully it’s that simple and if the dealer dropped the headliner they didn’t miss something that obvious.
