So I just moved to Sarasota, FL and I'm looking for any insight as to where to go for service, tires and anything else truck related including ceramic coatings. Lived in NJ all my life and knew everywhere to go and NOT go. Hoping someone can provide some insight for this area. Also I'll be getting a 23' when order banks open because Ford is buying back my 21'. I see a couple dealer options near me but I'm willing to take a trip, within reason, for a decent dealership if need be. Thanks in advance.
I'm in Manatee County and have had 7 ford trucks in recent years. I've used the Sarasota, Bradenton and Venice dealerships for service and the Matthews-Currie in Venice so far was the best.
I can't give opinion on ceramic coating because I've never had it done and don't see the need. Keep it garaged or out the sun when parked and it will be fine. If you get love bugs on it wash them off before the cake on and cause paint etching. It's much easier to get the bugs off in the first 24 hours.
If you click on specials and rebates you can schedule a FREE tire rotation using the coupon link. I usually tip the tire tech $10-$20 as he is doing the rotation. They hand start each lug nut so they don't cross thread lug nuts, they finish with a torque wrench and reset the TPMS sensors to report tire location properly. If you need tires they will match any other written quote.
Take a look at Sam Galloway in Ft myers. I buy all our fords from them. They did 500 over invoice on my 22. I will be doing x plan on my 23. Very easy to deal with.

Appreciate that as I will need to order a 23'. Was at a local dealership that most truck were $10K over sticker except for Raptors that were $20K over stick with some priced at $115k. Just insane.

Those are the prices for trucks on the lots that you can get in and drive off with today. Now days, to get the better pricing like mentioned above, you have to order one and then wait on it. Sounds like you're waiting on the 23 order banks to open... you should be able to find good pricing on those when ordering.

Thank you for the info abut Tuffy. Been looking for a new tire place to get tires from other then tire kingdom and costco/sams and I like the prices they have here. they dont offer the lifetime alignment but it looks like they have a true 4 wheel alignment machine setup which i dont mind paying for. Looks like we have a new one that just opened up in my town as well. Thanks for the info.

Matthews-Currie Ford in Venice will order a truck with X-Plan which comes in about 5-6% below MSRP and caps dealer fees at $100. I have a F-450 King Ranch on order with them with X-Plan. No deposit and no commitment with the order. You can qualify for X-Plan if you join EAA.Org for $45 They are a lot closer than Ft Meyers. I’ve also had very good results with their service department.
Here’s my DORA for my ordered F-450 from Matthews Currie (with redacted personal info).

Just passed them a little bit ago on my way to Venice, only a 15 min drive for me. I will definitely be stopping in there. Looks like they are adding a big building to the lot next door.
The dealership that did my service laughed when I asked about X Plan on an order and even said MSRP isn't doable. It's really a shame the way some dealerships are handling things, especially since I need a new truck. It's not that I just want one. Ford is buying back my 21' Tremor so I just want to see what will work out best price wise, to do a replacement or buy back. Replacement is MSRP for MSRP, I'm responsible for the difference. And as we all know the MSRP has gone up a bunch for the exact same truck, but the dealership can't add anything on top of MSRP so that price is set in stone if I do the replacement.

Back in March when I ordered a F-450 King Ranch fromVenice store they were advertising $150 cash if your ordered a truck from them even with the X-plan deal. They advertised if you changed you mind and didn’t want the truck, no problem you still keep the cash.
So I ordered the F-450 KRU, they gave me a $75 check up front and will give me an additional $75 when I buy the truck.
Dealer fee caps at $100 and it’s price protected. Normally most Florida dealers charge anywhere between $600-$1000 dealer fees.
