I have a 2016 explorer and it was having a misfire on cylinder 3. I changed out the spark plugs and coil packs. It was still showing code for misfire cylinder 3. I brought it to cord dealer and they’re telling me I need a new engine. That there must be a crack in the cylinder and they want to replace the entire motor. They topped off coolant and reset the computer and we took the car back. Since then it now shows misfire cylinder 2 and we got a code for something with the turbo. P0299. I don’t know what it could be but I don’t think we should be replacing the engine. Any ideas?
