I talked to the owner for quite a while.
Original condition except for a paint job about 30 years ago.
No rust. No dents in the bed, wheel tubs or tailgate. A few options.
Hard to find trucks like that. Very few survivors from that era that are not a pile of rust.
How nice it must be for you folks that live in dry snow free areas where things dont rust.
It looks like the hood has been smoothed, on the lowrider. I'd like to see more of that... I actually love the color too.
Lots of work to keep either of those trucks looking good. Hats off to both owners...
They were assembled there, but who was the dealer who sold them and where was it located.
I mentioned Valley Park Ford because instig8er63 used to work there in the parts dept.
.
I was a heavy line tech at Sunrise Ford and at Buerge. I also worked used car tech and auto trans (for a short period) at Sunrise.
When I was at Sunrise in Tujunga, Bob Haddad was the parts manager, Kenny Burke was there too.

Bob's first job when he moved to CA in the late 1960's, was at Ralph Williams, where I was working the back counter.
Bob was later the P/M at a dealer, I think in Montrose, don't recall the dealers name. I've lost track of Bob, have no idea where he is.
I don't know Kenny Burke. I worked at Walker-Buerge twice, for a few months in 1967 and 1975/77.
When Jerry Jacques wanted his son Ron to work the back counter, to gain more experience, Gene wanted me to move to the front.
I told Gene I didn't have the right personality to work the front counter. When I got a call from the P/M at Coberly, I gave Gene notice.
