I was getting into a challengin trail, and managed to get a little too much mud\water into pretty much everything. I shut down to check out a junked jeep, and couldn't get started again. Turned out the distributor was wet, and some guys gave me a hand and it started up. So I get home, the truck makes some strange noises on the way, lacks power, won't rev, finally I'm flooring it and it going 10, and it shuts down. Check engine light is on. It starts again, with a little throttle, get it back to the lot. Start it up, let it run, rev it some, to hopefully get some of the crap our of the engine. There were puddles in the intake ducting when I was trying to get it to start. So it idles a little erractically, but settles down a feels allright. I drove it some short distances, it shut down twice. So I'm planning on cleaning as much as I can out and changing the plugs, and anything else anyone would recommend for a waterlogged truck. But the hood will not open. It is latched halfway,w on't go down, won't go up, and I'm played with it alot, and it just won't open, had others try it too.
This is extremely irritating. Anyhow, it's runnin a little rougher, anyone have any insight, I've never felt the pain of water\mud engine problems.
