brakes not working

brakes not working
hey everybody, the brakes in my 1982 bronco arent working hardly at all.. not a good thing. It has plenty of brake fluid in it. The brake light in the cab is on. WHAT'S WRONG?! please help.

you might consider checking the perportioning valve, bleeding the system, and checking to see how low your pads are, also check the brake lines to see if there is any hints of streching. if its not any of those i would guess the brakebooster/masters cylinder. thats just how i would go about it, thats my .02 cents.

hey thanks man. it turns out i didnt have any fluid in one of the pistons [or whatever they're called] in the break master cylinder. SOOOO that means i have air in my lines SOOOO that means i have to bleed them which SUCKS. thanks
