P0172 & P0175 Code
Assuming 2004 SportTrac with V6~4.0L~SOHC Engin + 5r55e Trans + ...?
TroubleCode p0172 = Bank1\Cylinder1+2+3 Too Rich
TroubleCode p0175 = Bank2\Cylinder4+5+6 Too Rich
Are the OxSensors\Plugs\Wires still 2004 originals? These should be changed every ~10years\100kMiles.
As OxSensors get older & wear out, they bias the Fuel~Air mix richer,
lowering mileage & causing CatCons to run hotter than they should, eventually generating TroubleCodes.

We discovered a leak in the vacuum hose for the power brake booster (?) but wondering if this could be the cause of those codes or if we will have to dig further. I bought the truck through a private sale about 2 years ago so I am unsure what maintenance was done on it! Hoping if we fix that vacuum hose, it will clear the codes. Not very car savvy so if that doesn’t clear them, I’ll take her to the garage for them to diagnose.
