I own a 2003 Fx4 5.4L and I had a couple questions regarding electrical Fans. Have anyone had any experience with Flex-A-Lite 270 Dual Electric Fans or TSP HC7106 Pro Series Dual 11" Fans? The Flex-A-Lite is almost 4 times more expensive ($493 vs $145) but it's CFM rating is 5,500 compared to the TSP at 2,780. Also, the TSP draws 25 AMPs from the system while the Flex-A-Lite draws 28 AMPs. Will the extra AMPs matter? Will I need the extra CFM rating that the Flex-A-Lite provides? How are both in terms of quality? Both have a one year warranty. My final question is, are there any better options?
What prompts this consideration? Does the vehicle currently have a factory electric cooling fan? Are the coolant temperatures not being properly maintained by the vehicle's stock cooling fan(s)? What is the year and current mileage? Are you losing any coolant or seeing a spike in coolant temperatures?
I have no experience with your linked products unfortunately.

I am wanting to add a Lightning Supercharger so if I can free some ponies and get a little better gas mileage it is a win win. Nope, everything has worked perfect for me no problems at all with stock fans. 2003 with 86k miles.
Again this might be just me but does the Lightening Supercharger come as a kit or package or at least include a recommendation on whether to or how to enhance the stock cooling system to accommodate it's installation? An OEM radiator or different fan blade perhaps?
From what I've read an electric fan can draw enough current to stress the stock alternator which might rob you of those sought after extra ponies.
Good luck with this---looking forward to your progress!

Nope. Not a package. I would have to piece it together but I think I found a fit selling his as a package.
I might replace my alternator with a more powerful when they are installing the supercharger.
