I'm cracking up now because CJ's has all the ford parts listed as 'stepside.'
so from what I can tell, the styleside beds changed with the '67 model update and wouldn't interchange. do the flairside longbeds from the later models though interchange w/the fourth gen(61-66) trucks?
i have a 66 f250 (260) 3/4 4x4 with a flareside and the only thing i will need is the tailgate luckily... i have not found a source for the sheetmetal sides so i have will be doing alot of hammer and dollying..that part of my project is a year off as i have a flatbed ready to go on it.. the sides seem easy to fabricate , the stake pockets a little trickier . ill keep an eye on this thread to see what you find out..

yea i'm gonna have to get pretty savvy with a hammer and dolly as there's lots of little bumps and dings on mine.
Evolutionary Rides in florida quoted me 2200 for a style longbed kit(plus shipping) so I may end up going that route depending on how things pan out. on the one hand I like the retro look of the flairsides, but as I make fixes to this car i'd like to keep things in the original flavor and have it work as a sort of time capsule when you hop in. we'll see.
