Had no problems starting this at one point approximately eight months ago but I was in the process of converting it into a Camper van so it’s sat all week as I would only work on it over the weekends now I have moved into a new home and have more time but I cannot get it to start, I changed out the starter and the solenoid and I just now changed out ignition switch before all that and now when I try to turn the van it just goes click, nothing wrong with the battery voltage and amperage is great what should I try next? Also I put a socket upfront and manually turned over the engine and that was fine so definitely not seized
You said the battery is OK, but are you certain of that? Have you tried to jump it?
I had a similar thing happen to me (out in the boondocks on vacation!). Battery was known good, but it acted like it was almost dead when trying to start. Turned out the cables were loose at the battery terminal connectors - that is the battery post connection was tight, but the cable itself was loose where it connects to the terminal. So you might go around and check that every cable and connector between the battery and starter are all intact and tight.
I feel so dumb that I missed the simplest thing, the wires attached to the battery terminals were too rusty to make proper connections and after cutting off the ends and restripping the wires that fixed the problem and it started right up first try 😆
thank you for your input

Was getting 67 volts out of my expensive as hell DVOM the other day on a Jetta power window
Had me going (thinking I'm too old for this%$#@)
Ended up just needing a new battery in my DVOM
