Alright here's the problem. Removed the OEM radio which has a separate amp behind it, which I left in place. I wired in an aftermarket Pyle radio. I know the Pyle radio is good because I had it installed in my Harley. The radio powers on and has all functions I'm just getting no sound, so I'm thinking that it may have something to do with the amplifier. Does anyone know if I have to bypass a wire or if I have to unplug the amp and bypass it? Any and all help is appreciated.
Yes the radio is wire correctly just no sound. Here's the harness I bought to plug in with Metra Part # 71-1770 | Ford wire harness | Metra Online
That bike must sound good!
I tried to spend some big money but stereo is cheaper now than it was years ago.
A Kenwood marine deck with 4 five volt pre outs and 55 watts x 4 is not that much ( I paid around 325 on ebay).
Fosgate amps are cheap too.. New ones are prime and cheap. Older better ones are punch and are a bit more
Do you have the EVTM for your van? There is a diagram with the premium sound system and factory speaker wiring. If not then I have my 88 EVTM that may have the same wiring.

No I have the electrical in the back of my repair manual but it doesn't include wiring for the stereo. If you could share your I'd be very appreciative, at least I could trace.
I was trying NOT to cut into the OEM wiring so if I decided to sell the van later on I could tell the new owner if he wanted to go back to OEM it would be all plug and play. I don't know what a new or used amp will cost, I haven't priced it out yet, and I'm still a little peeved that my son blew the amp after I told him like 3 times we had to wire around the amp we could not run through it.
Post a picture of the the speaker harness connector into the amp. Maybe someone will recognize the mating connector and where to find one. Or cut open the amp to harvest the speaker harness socket to fabricate into a stereo set adapter.
You can tap into each speaker wire without cutting it to preserve the amp connector.

That's kind of what I was thinking, but your idea about taking the connector out of the amp is a better plan. I'm a work right now so I'll try to remember to grab pics when I get home. Thanks.
Hopefully these diagrams might help you out. There are several and I included the ones without an amp also.
Here is a link to a 1990 EVTM which would help you out greatly with future issues. Right now though it seems like the 1990 EVTMs must be either in short supply or high demand as the last few I have seen are way high priced. https://www.ebay.com/itm/15279584342...waAotlEALw_wcB
Here is the diagrams from my 88. There are a couple of pages more but they weren't related to your issue.
