CHMSL Camera vs. Topper
I have ordered a Leer 180 for Big Liz and have the CHMSL camera that looks down into the bed. Is anyone aware of this camera being relocated? I assume it will be useless once the cap is on but it would be pretty slick if I could relocate it into the topper, still looking down into the bed. Probably wishful thinking as I couldn’t find anything online.

You would think that a camera is a camera and all you needed to know is voltage, and what leads lead to what colors. That way you could leave the existing fixture where it is and simply cut the leads and send them to a new camera that would properly fit inside (or outside) the topper. All of the proprietary junk is a pia. Or maybe it isn’t that complicated and someone knows the use/function of each camera lead???

The camera is built into the high mount stop lamp, so to move it you would have to move the whole lamp assembly.
Maybe you could put a window in the front of the topper where the camera could see through it.
