How do i remove the armrest pad?

How do i remove the armrest pad?
Do i have to remove the entire door panel or just the one screw in the armrest? I plan to fill the armrest with some kind of foam-filler to keep it from cracking....

Look down in the handhole on the rest. There are 1 or 2 screws there. Undo the screws and then slide the rest either fwd or backwards. It will come off then.

FWIW, had to remove the door panel to take the armrest off. There are six screws - one in the armrest "pit" and five more behind the panel. I stuffed it with cotton ***** to make up for the deteriorated foam but now it looks like *****...guess I'll just get a new one at the stealer...unless someone out there has a perfect one for me cheap..? Charcoal grey interior.
