Idles too fast!
Idles too fast!
'93 F150, 5.0 automatic. I recently had the "on-car" fuel injection cleaning done at the Ford dealer (Pressurized solvent through fuel rail). Since then, the truck has idled fast. The dealer has replaced the IAC and found one vacuum leak. I found another vacuum leak. It still idles fast. No fault codes, and I can't find any other vacuum leaks. I really think there is still a vacuum leak somewhere, but I can't find it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

try turning the screw on top of the throttle body out a few turns to see if closing the throttle a bit helps, somewhere along the line it might have got turned in to compensate for the dirty injectors or the mechanic might have turned it in to keep it running while pressurizing it, could also check the fuel pressure and the regulator, dont know why exactly just a thought. i am assuming u r checking for leaks using a can of spray, and u checked the intake manifold and the injectors where they go in for leaks. b/c the dirt u removed might have been plugging your vacuum leak and seals.
