Fleet purchase?
How does one go about purchase of a truck under the fleet purchase options? Fleet buyers can purchase an XL version SD with the "#903" power equipment option that private owners can't purchase.

1) You need to show proof that you own at least 15 vehicles (pretty much anything with a motor in it), or have purchased 5 vehicles within the past year, OR:
2) Find a Ford dealer with a sympathetic fleet department that will order one the way you want it.

To get a FIN you have to qualify with the 15 or 5 vehicles. Unless you own your own company, I'm assuming you don't have that many parked in your driveway. My point in your finding the "sympathetic" fleet department is this: they get an order from the state for 40 XL Super Dutys. They order 41, the 41st being built the way YOU want it. OOPS, the state only wanted 40, they sell the "leftover" truck to you. It's done quite often.
