In the early sixties they used to drive down our street in Cincinnati...they threw out wiener whistles for us kids. Remember it like it was yesterday, what an advertising gold mine!
I remember when they did that in the early 1960s in Phoenix.

Just saw this for our friends in the Nashville area...

The iconic Oscar Meyer Wienermobile is making its way into Music City July 26-31 in its quest for spreading joy (and ketching up) around Middle Tennessee.

Hotdogger Keagan Schlosser, also known as 'Chili Cheez Keagz,' has announced he will be driving the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile along with his partner 'Chadder Cheese'.

According to their website, the iconic 27-foot-long vehicle was launched in 1936 to lift the publics spirits during the Great Depression and aims to spark miles of smiles at several local events hosted at Kroger supermarkets:

Tuesday, July 26:

10 a.m.–1 p.m. at 2011 Nashville Pike in Gallatin, Tennessee 37066

2-5 p.m at 273 E Main St in Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075

Wednesday, July 27:

10 a.m.–1 p.m. at 510 TN-76, White House, Tennessee 37188

2–5 p.m. at 123 Northcreek Blvd, Goodlettsville, Tennessee 37072

Sunday, July 31:

10 a.m.–1 p.m. at 1418 W Main St, Lebanon, Tennessee 37087

2–5 p.m. at 4400 Lebanon Pike. Nashville, Tennessee 37076

Don't forget to relish the moment.
