No crank no start

Hello, I have an 05 Ford F-250. I drove the truck to West Virginia and back (roughly 400 miles). Truck ran fine with no issues. I went to park it and now it won’t crank or anything. Lights come on inside but starter seems to not engage. Tapped the starter with a hammer and still nothing. It did this to me before but I let it sit for a few minutes and then it started right up. Brand new batteries and alternator. I don’t know what else it could be. Battery tested the batteries and they are good. Checked connections on alternator and still nothing. I don’t think there’s a head gasket blown where it’s letting coolant get into the cylinder head. Just seeing if anyones had this issue before.

Brand new alternator or remanufactured? I just went through three remans this weekend (for a Honda) before getting one that passed my charging test.
