Can anyone tell me what a decent price would be for what looks like a 4350 that has been rebuilt and not used (supposedly) since the rebuild? The seller didn't put a price on it and I don't want to get hosed. Thanks guys. Here are some pics from the ad.
Is there a reason you would rather have that than a 4160 ? they're better in every way and you can bolt a new one on and just drive..
Hey 440, no reason other than i already have a 4350 that i want to rebuild and that it's for sale here in Germany where i currently reside. I figured that i could take mine off, throw this one on and rebuild mine at my convenience. If you have a 4160 for sale with cheap shipping to Germany, I'd be willing to listen to your offer.
I have a big box full of them but they're all pretty tired. anymore I don't mess with them I just buy a new one, dial it in and forget about it. it's so nice .
with your situation and shipping cost that might make the most sense, buy once cry once.
$130 sounds good. The seller has a very limited market. Ford never did perfect them and Mike Urich tried until he passed. Prices being what they are you can drop that at a pizza ranch with a couple of friends on your tab anymore.
soooo...do you feel lucky ? it might run great or it might be a door stop.
A new 4160 600 cfm electric choke is $ 400. better carb than the Autolite ever was and you know it's going to work perfectly for decades. easy one for me.
They want 130 including shipping. If it's already been rebuilt, that doesn't sound horrible. What do you guys think?
Autoline is the name of a reputable rebuilder in Canada. If that is a NOS autoline rebuild, it would not be a bad price. $100 plus shipping would be a deal.
Thanks for the opinions everybody. I looked at the pics again and I'm not sure, but it looks as though it's dirty on the bottom. As though it has been run after it was rebuilt. According to the seller it was rebuilt and never used. Also, I'm not very lucky so I'll probably just pull mine and rebuild it myself. I appreciate all of the input gentlemen.
