Temperature experiment

for the purposes of storing a wide range of equipment in my decked drawers, console compartment, rear under seat storage, and the top of my decked drawers, a small cooler in my decked drawers (for the purposes of battery storage) I was curious what the temp differences are.

I picked up 6 domino sized temp sensors that display humidity and temp. 12 bucks for 6.

I put one in each of the above described areas and today will be a full sun hot day. I am curious of the result.

plan to see if there is any place that electronics and their batteries would survive prolong storage.

Are you talking about in your truck? I went to weather tech and got there window shades for the entire truck. It is almose black in there. It does take some time to put them in the windows so for a daily driver it is a little pain but if you just drive on the weekends its a must have.

inside center console
inside under seat storage
inside deck drawers
inside covered truck bed on top of decked drawers

conclusion was inside deck drawers was the coolest so that would be better for electronics and batteries.
