Hydroboost Replacement

How difficult is it to replace the hydroboost on a 2002 7.3 Excursion? And does anyone happen to have any documentation or a video on the process? I am trying to determine if its worth the $1300 I was quoted or if I can do it myself.

$1300? I'm starting to rethink working on aircraft.
It's a fairly easy DIY.
Unbolt the master cylinder and let it hang, no need to undo the brake lines.
Remove the lines from the hydroboost. Have some rags handy for the fluid.
This is the hardest part, contorting under the steering column to remove the clip from the brake pedal.
Then unbolt the hydroboost from the firewall.
Then install the new one.
I know there's more than one good thread showing this, but this is the first I could find

Should be the same part as my 01 Super Duty and I got the OEM Motorcraft from Rock Auto last year, think it cost about $200 but I do remember it was better than going to Ford...
Takes longer to get the brake pedal clips off and set properly than the rest of the job.

Get some light bungie cords to hold the master cylinder to the hood latch while working on the boost section.

With coffee breaks and union rest periods it should take less than two hours start to finish.
