I have much bigger problems now, truck went crazy yesterday. Found the rear sliding window open first thing yesterday morning I thought someone had broken into my truck but they hadn’t. I unlocked the truck and started it and closed the window. After my daughter got done competing I went to hook the horse trailer up and could not get the truck to unlock and had to use the key to unlock it. Then the batteries were dead and the window was open again. I had to get someone to jump me off after getting the truck started everything looked normal but the sliding rear window would not close, the running boards would not deploy when opening the door was opened and the tailgate would not open, and that’s a problem with a gooseneck trailer. After continuing to try and get the tailgate open if finally gave up and opened with the key fob. I got the trailer hooked up and horses loaded and then as I went to pull off the horn started blowing and would not stop. I ended up pulling the fuse to get it to stop. At that point we headed home with the window still open I kept trying to close it and finally after about two hours of driving I got it to close. This morning I went out and the truck started up like it should, the running boards still didn’t work. When I put the horn fuse in it started blowing again. So I dropped it off at the shop a couple hours later.
Your truck is old enough now such that you should check the two most common things that cause weird electrical issues across the late SD lines:
1. OEM batteries are low, and by low I mean by just a little bit. Have both batteries (if equipped) disconnected and load tested. If either is low replace both.
2. The other issue is water intrusion into those connectors near the spare tire and rear bumper, on the left frame rail. For what ever reason, moisture in those connections will drive the computers nuts, making the truck nearly undriveable.
Look at these before doing anything else. Might fix your problems.
Since you have a 2020 (going by the screen name), have you looked at the BJB? There was a TSB for some 2020-2021 Super Duty's. The problem came from the lid not being fully seated, allowing water/moisture intrusion into the BJB.

Well truck spent over a week at the dealer, it had a lot of codes for loss of comms to different modules, once cleared everything worked normal and they could not find any issues with it.

Was it raining or did you wash the truck just before the issues started? If so, then your problems will be back. As others have said it's likely due to water intrusion either in the junction box, the harness near the spare tire, or a flooded door jamb tray that hold the wire bundles.
Has anyone ever seen this when trying to go to tow haul mode?
Just happened to me starting about a week ago. 2020 F350 PSD. My truck was going crazy. About a month ago, I had it serviced (warranty work) by a Ford dealership. In addition to that they flashed the computer to make some transmission recall update. I drove it maybe one time after that, and then this all started happening. It also failed to start, so I checked the battery terminals and the condition (red or green dot). One battery is showing green, the other red. Added distilled water and drove it on the highway. When I got home, put it on the charger. The one battery is still showing red. Original batteries. Not sure if the battery condition maybe contributing to the issue or if whatever they did when they flashed it did something.
