Ya well i think i will get 285s when i need new tires. i got new tires with the truck so i will have to wait a while before i can get new tires. i think they do look good i just dont want anything to rub.
My truck also came with 265/75R16's when I bought it from my Dad. They are Michelin's at's with lots of tread left. When I buy new tires they are going to be 287/75 Dueler AT's. I will probably do a 2" body lift also. I saw a truck like mine in a parking lot with these tires and a 2" lift and it looked great!
Hey can you get acetone anywhere and how did you go about cleaning them did you just wipe them or did you soak them? Can you use the nail polish remover since it has it in it. Did you have to repaint anypart of it when you were done. sorry for all the questions at once but thanks for any info on what you did.
Acetone is available at any H & S hardware store, Home Depot and any other hardware/home improvement store. It is in the section with the mineral spirits and paint thinner.
