Found a nice set of Western Turbine wheels I'de like to fit to my 71 F100 (2wd). Im in the UK so beggers can't be chooses with the bolt pattern, and I'll have to use 1.5" thick bolt adapters. My truck as far as I know has stock power brakes, axle and bolt pattern. The wheels are 15x8.5 with a 5x4.75 bolt pattern, and 4" backspace. Does anyone have experience with fitting such a size of wheel to their truck? My concern is if they won't clear the brake, or possibly stick out to much with the adapters. Any help or advice will be much appreciated before I take the expense of purchasing and shipping the wheels from the US.
If you are going to have to ship from the US anyway your best option is to find a set of wheels with 5 X 5-1/2 bolt pattern. A 4 1/2-inch backspaced 15X8 wheel will stay under the front fender. If you add another 1 1/2 inch to that 4-inch backspacing, you will be out from under the fender slinging rocks and dirt all over your truck.

Thank you for the advice, appreciate it! being in the UK the main place I look for wheels is through Ebay.com, can you reccomend somewhere else to look for a nice set, or a company who deals in them? Thanks!
