I'm prepping my '68 F-250 to sell and I'd appreciate your opinions. It's mostly original - starts, runs drives and stops fine - but could use some cosmetic attention.
Two questions:
1) Would you rather have it in the original Pebble Beige/Wimbledon White or would more color (Harbor Blue, Rangood Red, Holley Green) be preferable? It definitelt needs paint (the photo below is from several yeras ago) the only question is what color.
2) Should I swap in a newly built engine (mild build 410 FE, 488Tq/383Hp with dyno sheet) or leave the 360 in it and sell the 410 sepeately? The 410 is documented, dyno tested, built by a very reputable builder. The 360 runs fine, doesn't smoke but it is pokey.
If you are getting rid of it, I wouldnt paint it or swap the engines. I would leave those two as is. I think the color scheme looks good on the truck. I wish my 72 f250 had the original paint on it when I got it, I would have left it alone. Previous owner did some red and white two tone. Not sure what shade of red it was and it wasnt wimbledon white either. How is it for rust? Thats probably more important on the east side.

Surface rust only in a few spots. This was in southern California from new to 2014 when I bought it and it's been kept up pretty well. It's been repainted in spots and the later paint hasn't held up as well as the factory. I'll probably touch up where it needs it and leave as much original color as I can.
