That's unfortunate. The 2F alone would make it a 92 there should/would be a T after the F to indicate a truck normally.

Is this Oz manufactured or US?

G' day David,
Again,,, Thank You for Your reply and information,,, I do appreciate it.
This Truck is A Left Hand Drive / USA Import.
I have not yet seen it in person,,, and am relying on information sent to Me from The Owner / Seller.
Maybe The "D" is actually A "T",,, and He has read it wrong ???
I will see if I can attach a couple of pics..
Cheers Graeme...

The truck does appear to have 10lug wheels.. which would mean it's heavier than an F350.

Ask the seller to send you a pictue of the certification label on the drivers door pillar.

G' day Paul,
Thank You for this advice,,, I appreciate it.
As The Truck has "Wheel Covers" on it then I will check with The Seller if it is 8 or 10 Lug.
Are there any other "Easy To See" things that tell The Differences between An F350 and An F450 ???
Cheers Graeme...

It should have a data sticker on the drivers door frame, something like this that will answer many questions:

(Edit, Paul beat me to it.)

Yeah I know what you mean about the wheel covers.. they can be decieving, my E250 has 7-lug wheel covers over 8-lug wheels.

See the additional suggestion in my original post above.

Someone needs to create a correct and accurate VIN decoder, doing it manually always works.
Now you need a picture to verify VIN on vehicle.

I suspect it being an incomplete vehicle is part of the problem. Those websites maybe looked at didnt have VINs that are less common. For example, a lot of car VIN sites can never figure out my Yamaha's VIN. Even though its a standard vin just like a vehicle(1987 Moto-4 with a 225cc lol)

Nevermind, I found 2 websites that both allowed it to show results. NHTSA helped here, even tho it was made in canada and probably never has come here. Its likely because canada signed on to a lot of the NHTSA / EPA regulatory things as far as vehicles go
