390/460???
I currently have a '78 150 4x4 4spd. with wasted 400 M. I'm looking to go either '72 390FE or '71 460. Both motors need flywheels. Trying to decide which way to go? Mounts, starter, etc??

I'd rebuild the 400, but if you are dead set on a swap, the 460 will be easiest because it will bolt to the bellhousing.anyway. Do yourself a huge favor, read up every thread here concerning swapping a 429 or 460 in place of a 351M or 400. You are gonna need engine and accessory mounts, exhaust, etc.
