Upper ball joints
Hey everyone, can anyone tell me if the upper ball joints on these 4x4 s need 5ge snap ring or are they held in place by vehicle weight. I cannot remember and vsnt seem to find it on my manuals if they do or not the new joints came with them. However I'm thinking they are for a different vehicle as these have been pressed in twice now and tge bottom out before the grooves present themselves I can attest that the grooves and the channels where everything sits has been cleaned thoroughly with some diseal and emery cloth and then cleaned with brake kleen. So I know they are driving in any thoughts

That's what I thought I have the rings in for the bottoms and I couldn't rember if the tops get them too as they are included yet they don't seem to drive all the way for that to be the case. Its a 92 f150 4x4 I don't think the tops do but just need a couple confirms before I put it all back
