Gotta weird problem, any ideas?

It's likely been hot at some point, at least that's been my experience with oilfield engines. New pumpers will get comfortable and a little cocky around the second month. Think they got it all figured out and start windshield pumping or just skipping wells all together. That's when a fan belt will blow, or it throws the drive belts, or one of my favorites the screws on the butterfly in the carb shake loose and the butterfly wedges wide open in the intake port. Ever seen a pump jack humming like a sewing machine? Good times.
