4x4 Gauge Indicator Not Working

4x4 Gauge Indicator Not Working
So the other day I decided to kick in 4Hi just to working things under there.. get the juices flowing. I heard the normal sounding click from underneath however the indicator in the gauge cluster did not light up.. nor for 4Lo.
Is this indicative of the transfer case motor not engaging fully or at all?

Verified today with FORScan that the wheel speed sensors are good, also saw where the truck realizing it’s in 4hi and 4lo. I took the liberty of removing the transfer case shift motor and disassembled it. Not a thing wrong with it, which I did before testing like an idiot.
