So I recently bought a 2019 F250 CC with the 6.2l and only 3500 miles, it was a salvaged title so I knew there were some risks but when I bought it everything was operating fine and it drove excellent. The price was also really good so I though WTH and I rolled the bones, well now I'm finding out why it had not sold for so long.
Truck has been acting like it's haunted for a few weeks now and I've now learned the BCM had gotten very wet and truck potentially was under water but no way to know for sure how deep. None the less, no one has new BCM available as they are on backorder like everything else these days. So now I'm trying to find one and hoping that someone here might know where I can find one, the part number I need is JU5Z-15604-BY, my other option is to send mine in for rebuild but having trouble finding someone that can do it..
Yea I guess I can check on new one's listed on eBAy
Additional question.. does anyone know if it's safe to pull the existing BCM out and just try and clean it off then reconnect it.. there's a small chance that could help though it's very very small

I don't see why not. Just disconnect the battery. I've seen a tech yank the BCM just to have more room to access upfitter pass through wires.
It's probably not a matter of just cleaning the BCM out, probably something burned on the board.
Make sure whatever BCM you buy used has a warranty/return policy, or you may just be buying another bad one.
Not saying that the BCM isn't the issue, but check the wiring harnesses for broken, rub through issues. There might be a power/signal/bus wire shorted to a ground or something. If you have the wiring diagrams and see what is working and what is not you may be able to isolate what harness an issue may be in if it's not the BCM.
Can't say I have heard of any common harness issue, but someone couple have been poking around or did not put something back as it should when hunting for the ghosts.
