New 5R55W5 tranny

2002 EB Explorer w/4.6L, 3.73 limited slip...according to all the tech stuff I've read, this new 5R55W5 tranny is "sealed for life" and SHOULD go 150K without any servicing. (I'm still getting used to NOT seeing a tranny dipstick under the hood...what is the automotive world coming to!)

Planning on doing some moderate-weight TT towing with this rig. When I've done towing in the past, I almost always had the tranny drained/refilled at the end of the towing season so that any fluid that might have been cooked got replaced.

Am I to understand that this won't be necessary with this particular Ford tranny? It has the factory towing package with larger tranny cooler, etc.

Thanks!
