My 1987 hasnt been slowly falling on its face for about a year now... starts but then dies.. have to help it help to a warm temperature before it will idle but will still idle rough with hesitations and misfires... even in gear when you give it throttle it just sputters and spits... ive replaced almost everything.. tps.. iac.. fuel pressure regulator.. plugs and wires.. map sensore.. cap rotor button.. ignition module and ignition coil.. pcv valve..fuel filter... have checked vacuum leaks.. even put a new computer in it ... did an obd1 test and code 87 popped up.... cld a bad fuel pump relay still allowed the truck to run at all or cld that cause the truck to act stupid... any help wld be nice
Your title says absolutely nothing about the problem. Now that you have thrown all those parts it it who knows? Some of those replacement parts could now be part of the problem. You haven’t told us what engine is in the truck. Since a 351W in ‘87 was still carbureted is it safe to assume you have a 302? Incorrect fuel pressure can cause all sorts of drivability problems.
