Assuming 1971 F-100/F-350 -- appears base part number 13118 (RH) and 13119 (LH) were for 1970 - 1972. If my info is correct, then 1970 - 1972 would be D0ZZ-13118-A for RH and D0ZZ-13119-A for LH.
I bought mine from Carpenter in Charlotte, NC. They fit perfectly, but be sure to get all new screws, springs and attachment hardware. It makes the job sooooo much easier!
They are different. If you put them side by side you can't tell. The 70-71&72 buckets will fit in 67-68&69 as well as the other way around. Problem is your headlights will be about a quarter turn off. You won't get a proper adjustment. Basically you need the correct buckets for your application. As stated by JJ72XLT, get the right ones needed for your truck.
