Before I continue reassembly I’d like to make sure I’m not missing anything obvious… Can anyone tell me what goes here? I’m guessing some sort of remote controller mechanism for a specific type of mirror. Thanks!
It seems like the speaker wiring came out that big hole and back into the door in the half circle hole. With a little push in clip in the small hole. The original speaker wiring had several connectors in it and I think the last one to the speaker was in the area outside the door but under the door panel. Keep in mind most of these trucks used to have a tar paper type of weather barrier stuck to the door behind the door panel and I am guessing this is how they exposed wiring connectors for trouble shooting to save time.

Something like this, in case anyone wonders if the contents behind their door have been gone through before. I'm pretty sure this truck hadn't been messed with prior to my ownership. If I still had it, I'd go see what was in that spot. Oh well! The only thing I know that wasn't OE behind the door panel was the mass of dead bees you can see at the top of the panel.
